Teaching, in particular Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) is very popular and is in great demand particularly in less developed countries in Africa, South East Asia and parts of eastern Europe. Au pairwork is also in high demand. With teaching and au pair employment, you have the added advantage of getting your accommodation and meals included in your contract. There is plenty of work out there if you are looking for a short term post whilst travelling abroad and are fairly flexible about the type of work you do. So why not just go for it!
